YEMEN WAR: SUSPEND SUPPLY OF WEAPONS TO THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES OF NORWAY

Norway has suspended supply of weapons and explosives to
the United Arab Emirates.
According to the Norwegian Foreign Ministry, this
decision has been considered to be the prospect of the fact that these weapons
can be used during the ongoing war in Yemen.
Yemen is part of Saudi Arabia-led alliance in 2015, while
Yemen's rebel rebels get Iran's support
Most of the northern parts of Yemen's capital, Sana'a,
occupy the Haiti rebels.
According to the World Health Organization, more than
8750 people have been killed and more than 30 million displaced due to the
ongoing fighting in Yemen.
According to the Foreign Ministry, though the 'no
evidence found that the weapons provided by Norway have been used in Yemen, but
there is a threat to joining the Yemeni war of the United Arab Emirates.'
The statement further states that "this decision shows
closely caution from Norway."
The recent export permissions from Norway have been
terminated as temporary and no new license will be issued in the recent
situation.
This decision was made on December 19, but it is now
common.
In the year 2016, Norway sold 9.1 million weapons to the
United Arab Emirates and doubled in recent years.
Many human rights activists and members of the Norwegian
Parliament campaigned to suspend arms for several months.
